Bren,
Our association would be perfect for your friend. Our association was founded by cowboys for the working cowboy so our rodeos are mainly in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas & Oklahoma. Call the ACRA office @ 918-456-9814 & I’ll send you more information.

When does the 2012 season start and how do I go about getting my card/membership?

This is a perfect time to purchase your 2012 card! The 2012 season began the 6th of September. You can purchase your card at most rodeos or through the office. If you plan to purchase it at a rodeo be sure and ask when you call to enter if they will be selling ACRA cards. You can call me at 918-456-9814, we have several options through the office if you want to go that route.

I am wanting to join your association for the 2012 season. Can you tell me what states/towns your events are hosted in throughout the year?
I also notice your 2012 season has already begun, are there a minimum events you are required to attend during the season, or do you just solely calculate points accumulated to qualify for the finals?

Our rodeos are mostly in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and a couple in Illinois. There is no requirement for the number of rodeos you enter it is points accumulated. We take the top 15 in each event to the finals. Our season began the weekend after Labor Day but we don’t have much through the winter so you can still purchase your card and have plenty of time to make the finals. Our season is busiest during the months of April through Labor Day.
I am shooting the Moline, Ks event over the 4th of July weekend. Would you like a disc of the photos to use for publication?
I am in the process of getting the paperwork to you to get my card.
June 20, 2011 at 1:49 amWe don’t do our own publication but you can contact Allen at http://www.cowboysportsnews.com
